The founder of this lay ministry, Allen Clark (read Allen's biography), is a West Pointer, who served in Vietnam in covert operations after being transferred in-country (airborne-qualified) and assigned to the 5th Special Forces Group. Allen did not attend the official Special Forces officer training course at Fort Bragg, but was proud to have been assigned to the 5th Special Forces Group. He believes the motto, code, and warrior spirit as exemplified by the official Special Forces professional soldiers are worthy of emulation and use in the spiritual arena to help heal his fellow veterans.

The Founder
Special Forces
The motto of Special Forces is De Oppresso Liber, which means Freedom From Oppression. Army Special Forces soldiers are highly-disciplined and trained specialists in unconventional warfare against enemy guerrillas and often operate deep in enemy territory. In Vietnam one of our missions was to "win the hearts and minds of the people." Special Forces wanted to free people or keep them free.
Personal Spiritual Warfare
Many parallels exist between military warfare and spiritual warfare (negative thoughts and emotions), including the need to understand the battleground and to devise a structured plan for combatting the "enemy," who is sometimes ourselves due to unwise choices. In our personal lives, unconventional spiritual warfare techniques applied with discipline and prayer are needed for individuals to counter the forces of evil that would oppress and separate us from the fulfillment we can have as Christians." "In our personal lives healing methods applied with strict military discipline and fervent prayer are needed for individuals to counter the forces of evil that would oppress and separate us from the fulfillment we can have as Christians."
